Favorite? If I have to choose, it would be '99 CBR600F4. I put well over 30K trackday miles on her. I can tell you my least favorite was my '92 750 Night Hawk I bought to replace my wrecked '85, but it was no where near as good of a bike (IMHO).

Honda 450 twin first. Favorite(s) the '79 Honda CBX, that was a monster, six cylinders, six carbs, had the same HP as my 1990 Toyota 22RE, 105HP.

Tie for favorite because of handling is BMW boxer twins, 1976 R75 and a 1985 R65S. Sweet predictable handlers, low center of gravity, super easy to wrench on.

Favorite has been the KTM. It's literally a dirt bike with a license plate. A close second and honorable mention has to be my 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6RR. I put over 80k miles on that bike. Over a weekend I rode from the Atlantic coastline in North Carolina through Deal's Gap (did the tail of the dragon both directions), then the Cumberland Gap, up into Virgina, through West Virginia, down through Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and halfway across Texas. The bike was stolen, recovered wrecked, rebuilt, then stolen again in 2015. I loved that bike.

Here's my rattle can paint job while I was rebuilding it after it was stolen the first time. Notice the other side doesn't have fairings yet.

Yeah, I agree. It's super easy to ride and still has plenty of fun factor. I found this one with only 8k on it and was able to buy it for $1000.

Coming from two strokers it's a bit of a change up but it's not bad. I still question whether I should have gone with the 500 a lot but the 350 is so nice on tight single track.
