Yo. New member. Where do you guys get your trucks dirty, around VB / Chesapeake?

Nothing crazy, I have All terrain tires on a 2014 DCSBOR. Just looking to test my 4wd a little bit.

Pungo if you know the right people. NC/SC, Tennessee, and up here on the ESVA are pretty much the only places.

Good to know, thanks. I knew a guy in Pungo but don't talk to him much anymore and don't know if he has info about any offroad areas. I might be heading to Richmond this weekend so I'll dig around google maps satellite view for a little dirt. My brother doesn't know I got this thing and it would be fun to show up to his house muddy.

I did see some trails near my dad's house over near Hadensville so that's an option.

Up by george washington forest I think its a 4-5 hour drive from the hampton roads area. Cool thing is peters mill is about a half hour away if I remember correctly.

Not much left here. Cops come real quick if you go out to Burton off Tim Road in VB. Use to be a spot behind where the old Merchant's Tire on Battlefield Blvd was, but there's a road there now. I got stuck at 0300 by my dumb-ass self once there :D

Bummer man, I know when I lived in hampton roads I was on a hiatus of all things off-road/mountain biking since the commute was pretty far to see any action...legally.

Yeah, and it's only gotten worse. You basically have to know someone with property or you gotta make a trip out of it.

I dont doubt it man...especially with the po-po they got so crazy they tried to scare me into a ticket when I was parked at my own home for two days cause I had a "modified truck with fenders." The norfolk area had things on lock pretty bad back then, I cant imagine how it is now. Funny part is I never had any issues with the law over dumb shit like I dealt with during my time in hampton roads for 7 years.

I've seen some of those trails off Tim Road. I work near there and found them on the satellite a few months ago. They have built up the entrances with some steep dirt piles. I'll check them again on my lunch break one of these days.

Yea Norfolk is fkin terrible. Back when I worked construction, I parked on a street facing the wrong way because it was the only spot open and I was offloading a shit ton of posts, plywood, and bags of concrete. Carried 3 bags of concrete around back by hand, (Probably weighed more than I did) and by the time I made it back around front, an officer was there and writing me a ticket for being parked facing the wrong way. I explained myself and asked him if I could just correct the parking job, and he gave me a bunch of shit for it. He ultimately let me re-park and let me off with a verbal warning.

Yeah dude I used to have a lot of fun out there. These days you're more than likely to get chased off, so I don't bother anymore.
