A good question, considering there has been what... one time that a tuned M/T was on the dyno?

Also, some street testing is in order IMO.

Shouldn't make a difference on the dyno; maybe on the street for drivability.

Better be careful with that request, some here will claim that's dangerous and will send you through the garage door lol

My experience with the Gear Lock 87 tune.

Ok, the Gear Lock tune works as advertised. It will hold each gear, but the TC will unlock in each gear to get you the extra RPMs to get you moving as you press the throttle.

Cruise Control is annoying enough on the baseline 87 tune. This very was apparent on my way home yesterday using GL and cruise control, in a headwind, on level road.
With Gear Lock enabled and in 6th, the TC would cycle unlock and lock about every 3-5 seconds to keep me at 60MPH. Very annoying.
The baseline 87 tune, under similar conditions, would just drop into 5th and stay put.

I thought the GL tune would alleviate or end the annoying cruise control 'porpoising' on the highway. Not faulting the tune in anyway, just my observations.

Going back to 87 baseline ASAP.

Good to know. I wouldn't risk it as I know some have regrets updating to latest ECU update. Now they can't flash back to 1.03

I want my paycheck to have less withholding and a refund. How do I do this? Can I borrow some dependents to claim or something?

Man, I need to take back my comment on the tip in being too much for the 87 performance tune. The more I drive the better it gets. Super fun and not bad in traffic at all compared to my manual commuter car

Same. I lost the itemizations this year with the new tax law and it hosed me.

Same fucking thing for me. The only thing that saved me is I am married filing jointly this year. If I filed single, I would have had to pay almost $2k. Funny enough, the amount I got extra in my paycheck from the withholding changes adds up to almost exactly that....
