Hey everyone. My name is Bryan, I'm 31. I just moved to Loveland, CO in January. I enjoy guns, knives, the outdoors, snowboarding and video games. I am trying to make new friends with similar interests. You can add me on Instagram: Kalashnikov_4774

I recently purchased a 2019 Cement TRD Off Road DCSB Manual. I want to get into overlanding, but first I want to try out a few easy trails in order to decide on what mods I want to add down the road.

    Welcome.

Good idea about light trails so understand your truck. First time I went I couldn't get 4LO. Of course I didn't read the instructions on the visor.

    Welcome,
I'm kind of in the same situation, but haven't really found the time to test the truck on easy trails yet. I'm thinking about Jones pass once the spring comes.

Welcome! You moved to the right place to learn your truck well.

Feel free to add me on IG @199Hats and I occasionally play games on Xbox - handle is MadeInShade. Been playing Apex Legends when I am bored and don't feel like doing work.

I haven't had to use 4LO or 4HI yet. Soon enough I'm sure.

Hit me up if you want a partner to join you when you decide to visit Jones Pass.

I love driving Manual :headbang:. Before this I had a 2012 Tundra Automatic but it wasn't as fun to drive.
I added you back. How is Apex Legends by the way?

I like it. I'm not much of a gamer these days, but I have been hitting Apex hard the last couple of weeks. I wasn't a fan of Fortnite, it was too cartoonish to me. Apex is a lot better than Fortnite in my opinion. And it is free! Not really any reason to spend any money in the game.

I hate Fortnite lol. I agree it is too cartoonish. PUBG is more my style with the realistic guns. I'll have to check out Apex.

I haven't played PUBG, but was big on Battlefield and COD for awhile. Really haven't played much in the last 3 years until recently. Everyone I use to play with doesn't have time anymore. I'd be down to try out something else if there was someone to play with.

I used to be pretty big into gaming, haven't played in a few years. I don't have my Xbox anymore :pout:

Also started following you on IG. Can I be your friend? That's quite the arsenal! Haha

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I've seen so many Tacomas on the road since I bought mine. I guess I never noticed how many there are in Colorado!

Welcome and nice taco! I am just NW of Fort Collins. We'll have to get a Northern Colorado meetup going!

I'm only like 10 minutes north from Loveland. I live in Fort Collins and am in the same boat as you. (Minus the fact that I've lived here my whole life). Just got a '16 TRD OR last week. Been wanting to meet some fellow CO tacomaworld peeps and get out on the trails. I'll shoot you a friend request on IG here in a few. IG: _mikeconley

I like the Fort Collins area. Have you done anything yet to your Tacoma since you got it? Got your friend request

Nothing yet, waiting to see how much my registration and taxes are going to be before I start spending a whole bunch haha. Plasti-Dipped the wheels and the grille last weekend and they turned out pretty good. After I get the registration figured out, I plan on saving for a lift and some different tires. You?

Yeah tell me about it, I spent $900 on my registration and custom plate :frusty: This forum has cost me WAY too much already since I bought my Taco in February. Plus, my co-worker has a Taco so we are kind of competing against each other as far as mods :anonymous:. So far these are my installed mods:

    • 6000K Hylux HID low beams
    • TacomaBeast LED interior lighting
    • Red Custom Shift and E-brake boots
    • Tonno Pro Tri Fold Hard Top Tonneau Cover
    • Anytimebackupcamera.com Reverse bypass and added a front camera
    • RCI Rock Sliders
    • Rotopax 2 Gallon Gas Can
    • Rotopax 2 Gallon H20 Can
    • 60" HiLift Jack
    • Center Console and Glovebox Organizers
    • Red & Black Console Liners
    • Tacoma Tailgate Black Letters
    • OEM Bed Mat
    • OEM Bed Net
    • 3rd Front Bed Rail
    • RokBlokz Mud Flaps
    • Custom License Plate: "TRDTACO"
    Installing soon:
    • Tepui Kukenam Standard Sky Roof Top Tent
    • Mobtown Offroad Cross Bars
    • TRD Pro 4Runner 17" Wheels, still trying to decide on which size BF Goodrich tires
    • TRD CAI
    • TRD Oil Cap
    • TRD Pro Grille
    • 4 Piece White Raptor LEDs for Grille
    • Vinyl for interior
I know nothing about suspension so I need to figure that out before I slap my new wheels and tires on.

Count me in on this! Definitely let me know if you get a group together to go out. It’d be awesome to meet some new people and hit the trails.
