    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    Ye'sir... Speedo works again

Just drove it around the block so I'm still getting a CEL for no VSS. Hopefully it'll re-set when I drive to work tomorrow.

Do you find that the blue cluster lighting hurts your eyes after awhile? Ive always thought manufacturers dont put blue in and opt for yellow/green/orange because blue light is damaging to the eye long term. Same reason why your not "supposed" to look at your phone at night without dimming it way down first. Looks good though.

I love these wheels but they really need a darker color to do the truck justice. Could even go bronze ala your SCS. Hit mine with rustoleum graphite wheel paint.

Hmmm, could I use that to ditch my cable operated speedo cluster?

I had graphite painted wheels on before the 4Runner wheels, never cared for them.0820181207d-1.jpg

Well the 5 stars are way better looking than the 2nd gen wheels regardless of color  I do think the graphite fits your truck better, especially with the painted rocker panels. But yes, to each his own.

It's not that it is damaging to the eye, it is that our eyes are least sensitive to the blue part of the spectrum.

I’ve got blue ones too. I constantly find myself dimming them to the lowest possible and often even turn them off when I’m driving back roads. Considering switching over to red some day.

The blue does not hurt my eyes. The blue is actually easier to focus on than that orange garbage I got rid of.

And many manufacturers DO use blue for instrument clusters. Most of the Ford instrument clusters, today, are blue. Some munufactures are even beginning to make clusters that you can pick color.

Also, even many airplane instrument clusters are blue... If there was really a problem with blue light, you'd think there was enough research put in to the F22 and F35 where they wouldn't have used blue light.

Grab your driveline and try and move it at the joint. You cant really visually inspect them.

The VSS adapter DID work 100%

I knew the speedo was working last night when I put it in... But the Check Engine Light turned off this morning on the way to work

Who all would be interested in a metal door handle replacement?

    This part specifically?

I have to draw something up in AutoCad for school and get it 3D printed.

If everything works out I might see how much more I have to do to get it ready for a cnc.

I have red and I am quite happy with it. I even did red on the shifter so that no exposed lights are bright. Glovebox and ashtray are bright white that I am thinking of swapping out for cheaper/less lumens/warmer color temp.

That's going to be an expensive piece. Add me to your list of interested with a guess that you'd have to sell it for at least $150 to make it worth your time and effort for a CNC'd version. Also, how do you plan on finishing it to reduce/remove the tool marks? Tumbling or sanding? Then paint, powdercoat or anodizing that will fade and look like crap?

    Until you see the price...

Anyone got the part numbers for the grill clips for 03-04 Tacoma?
    There are 2 types:
4 or 5 little ones that attach to the rad support?
2 or 3 big ones that attach to the bottom of the headlight?

Blue light has a shorter wave length. Its not really "bad" per say but its much much more fatiguing.

Nice! You'll like it much much better. Next..220v

Could just get it 3d metal printed...but won't be cheap no matter what Id guess. Be cool though.

Great idea for us cold weather climate folks. I'd be in as long as the cost is reasonable.
