Hell no, that's the wrong direction!

I think 35's are the perfect tire look for a dcsb. Granted 37's give it a beefier look, I'm trying to talk myself out of it as I don't see it being worth the time and money I would need to throw at it. (To do it right......) :notsure:

I was thinking about 5.29's.. @Bigdaddy4760 did Tandem ever get back with you?

And if I went to 37's, I would keep it at the 3" suspension  Wider, but no higher good sir :curls:

Looks awesome Kenny! You've got me curious.. what kinda fender liners are you running, and did you make a custom piece to go on the outer edge? My pinch weld is exposed and i keep getting a bunch of rocks and dirt near where my door opens. Trying to figure out a way to keep that from happnening

After I cut the fenders, I actually just made some relief cuts in the factory liners, pulled them up and screwed into the fender.. Was just talking with someone else about this earlier; if you were interested I could dig up and post some pics. I mean it is a build thread

I have never used the stuff out of a can we shoot a two part system at work by 3m and you can’t grind it off. I send a email to my coatings specialist and see what he recommends

Most aerosol stuff peels off the plastic unless you use a good adhesion promoter and sand the surface.

For sure dude! I've been real bad about documenting anything in the past, but I did snap a few during that process..

So after the initial fender cut, there was still the gap from where the liners were molded to, and the new height of the fender.. I pulled the liner up in the center, and screwed it into the fender from the inside. You need to make a few relief cuts so it somewhat keeps it's shape, and keep screwing it in every bit till it fits snug all around. I still had to cut some of the outside of the liner in spots, and on the ends..

Since your screwing in from the inside, you just cut the excess off on the outside and the flare will cover it up..

Then I went ghetto and just used some spray foam to fill in all the holes, and covered with some silicon so it wouldn't crumble off..

I caked it after that with some rubber coating, and then just used some abs plastic to cut some strips to cover all that mess up and make it look somewhat decent. Those were just screwed into the original liners

It's not perfect, but it's a wheel well and gets the job done  I made the flares maybe a half inch longer to cover all that up and even the abs is tucked under there. Gonna have to figure out how to do it all over again here in the next few weeks when the glass comes :bananadead:
