I agree. Road grime is well worth a great road trip. Have had my share and never complained about cleaning it up afterwards. Have a safe trip to Daytona and back. Hope the weather cooperates. Fun place.

So I sent the dealership an email with pictures, figured I didn't have anything to lose. The sales guy seemed more upset about the condition than I was! So they are sending me a new one and paying for my shipping to return the one I have. I'll keep ya'll updated on how it goes.

 

Installed Pro shift knob. Working on the raptor lights now.

 

We bought this one, also a '99, about four years ago from the original owner. It just turned over 130,000.

I didn’t initially... for about a whole day. But then just now as I was driving home, it started doing it! I thought I was lucky, but nope, lol. Ordered some resistors for both front and back, as I don’t know what one is causing the issue... I’m assuming every “blinker” needs a resistor?

Ordered these just now. Not sure if they’re plug and play, but I’m about to find out this weekend, lol! Anyone out there able to pick up some plug and play resistors for their truck on Amazon?

Bought a taco a little over a month ago, been busy the last few days. Prinsu rack, rhino snowboard rack (modded the mount to slide in the prinsu rack), bakflip MX4, iboard steps, pop & lock, mud flaps, window tint & vents, bed mat, and have the futomo drain valve to put in on the first oil change. Loving the truck so far, just need to black out the chrome next.

 

I finished wiring up my amp and sub. Well, I’ll still need to do some wire management to clean everything up but I’m still messing with tuning the amp. I lose the passenger side cubby but I’d never use that anyway so no real loss IMO. Now all my switches in the center light up as intended. New bulbs for highs, lows, and fogs are ordered and inbound so that’s next. Stilllllll waiting on clazzios to get here so I can finish the seats……with heat FTMFW. I also plan to do some sound deadening on the back wall and in the doors but not in a real huge hurry on that.

Really liking the way these lights from @runnin4tacos matches the amber Morimoto fogs. Now I have to black out these head lights.

These mats are survivors and work great in keeping stuff from sliding. I thought rain water might be an issue, but not so.
