Question for those of you who have aftermarket UCAs and are running Maxtracs.. If i am going to have no lift besides the 4" from the spindles, will i have any trouble getting an alignment with my TC UCAs?

The spindles maintain the stock geometry and the TC UCA's add some caster (which is a good thing for offroading.) There should be no problems at all except that in my opinion you should ask the Alignment guys to set your caster in the 2.5 to 3.5 range which is out of spec per Toyota but helps you track straighter in the dirt. The only thing it does onroad is possibly make your steering feel a bit heavier. I actually run mine at 3.0 and 4.0 depending on what my alignment guy can get. But in my case it helps clear my 35's from the cab mount because more caster pushes the tire forward.

That makes sense, i figured it would probably be okay. Just have never heard of folks running aftermarket UCAs for a lifted application with no lift per se.. I think my caster is about 3.5 and 3.0 right now. Truck drives great with the 295s. I would want more caster with 35s like you have

Is anyone in here runnning the TC +2 LT kid with maxtracs? curious if these require a spacer for the uniball like the standard 3.5 kit and Stock lowers do?

I just put 4” spindles on and I have a clunking sound coming from the front end. All ball joints seem and feel good. Has anybody had this and if so what else should be checked? The tie rods are on top now too. Thanks!

Same thing here. All tie rods and ball joints are good and alignment is good. I'm thinking something with the change in geometry

I've less of a clunk but more of a knock front drivers side. Never had been able to figure it out.

Have you guys taken the sway bar off to see if that makes a difference? I’m pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. I feel it pretty hard in the floor board. It seems to be on the driver’s side as well.

Same thing. Definitely driver's side. I changed my sway bar ends but never tried fully disconnecting it. Seems to happen more when turning from a stop.

Well I took the sway bar completely off and the clunk was still there. I put it all back together and it didn’t make the clunk until a turned the wheels to the left to back into the driveway.

I had a clunking sound a few months after installing my camburg spindles. Found out the 2 bolts on the bottom of the spindle that connect to the ball joint/LCA had come loose. After tightening them back to spec the clunking went away

@NOLAtaco26 is your brake line free to move? How do you have it routed? If you didn't strap it down to the spindle it's probably the brake line hitting the frame or the bump stop mount. You probably here it with a slow rolling left hand turn

Any idea of the torque spec on those bolts? Mine came with no instructions, so I’m flying by the seat of my pants.
