99% of people on this forum have a burning hatred for California and everyone and everything in it, so I’m not surprised. Haha.

I had a prof that brought home made baked goods, she was not a good baker but she was a good prof so we let it slide. I think everyone took food just to be nice

    Damn haha.

Free food is free food, and it automatically tastes better no matter what the pedigree of the cook is.

There’s also a culinary school and restaurant on campus. We can have a four course meal for like $15, crazy. They’re always booked up since it’s so cheap and really nice and intimate.

You get a five year period to leave Cali starting from the moment you take up residence. If you don't leave within that time span every year additional adds 4 years it'll take for you to become a useful person in another state.

Good luck with that, Eastern WA, the Idaho Klanhandle, and Western MT have been trying to form the state of Jefferson for like 35 years. Turns out you can't start a new state out of existing ones if you're both broke and low population haha

They still want to split California and half and make two Californias.

    For two times the fun.

What would be the defining difference that makes it necessary to split. Avocado toast with or without tomato, or whether or not you have to pay an extra tax for not feeding your cat vegan food?

Yeah I think I’d want to move out of the country if we had 51 states. The uneven number will always bother me.

Unless the Virginias make up and make one Virgina.

I don't think regular Viginia wants to skew it's average number of toothless citizens that much

Probably got sick of Greenville lol. Nothing but college people, drug dealers, and pig farmers out there. Although I may finish my 4 year online through ECU, good school if you can avoid the parties.

Politics. Moar senate/house votes. Thats ultimately why any state wants to split. One party gets pissed at the other for essentially controlling the state. In Calis case the more red northern part wants to split from the blue southern part. Its a pipe dream.

Without getting into it too much — Outside the population centers, it’s very conservative. I was the Modesto Pick-n-Pull (farmland and oil refineries) and I saw them flying a Confederate flag across the street.
