I occasionally use mine for engine braking, but it's not nearly as nice as a manual.

What is a fake manual option? I thought what you described as an alternative was the fake manual, at least that’s what I think a VW salesperson tried to sell me as the new manual transmission.

The Charger has a NAG1 transmission. BENZ design. Full electronic.
With my paddle shifters I can fully control the trans. With the programmer, I can adjust it to my liking. Always fun barking 2nd and 3rd.

The Taco has a maximum gear selector. It works. I just leave ECT on. Wish my wife could drove a stick... I'd have a 6mt

My girl's old RDX had paddle shifters, which was kind of like a fake manual. It wouldn't change gears on it's own in manual mode. I think Toyota doesn't do that yet, at least not with the trucks and SUVs

My '06 charger has been very reluctant to up-shift when using the slapstick mode for the past year or so. Havent had the motivation to dig into it as shes about near the end of her life (damn salt and CaCl brine :()

But yeah, that shit was a blast when it worked

Nice - I drink that stuff everyday haha

Let me know - If we jump into one car I have a spot down there so parking isn't an issue. Just gotta know ahead of time.

    Morning all!

The GF's Mustang has paddles. Whenever I drive it, it's in 'sport' and I'm doing the shifting. She almost never uses them, though. Not sure why.
    :notsure:

Which Sebago do you have in there right now?

We got the lake trout stout (nitro pour) and Slick Nick on tap right now. They're both just about kicked, not sure what we'll be getting next
