That's what 63 swap day and CMR are for. All in good time. Plus I need gears and rear locker at a min. But am still figuring out if I want to switch the rear first.

They are 33s on it now same tires that were on the Methods.

Nothing is going through my bed except the bolts for the towers. 16s are a possibility though.

Oh can always pull it off but will it help for what I am running probably not. Just for reference you can get tons of flex out of 14s with the proper set up and/or suspension system. Buggy is only on 14s

Skip, what are you doing about the front cab mount? Relocate? RedGoatFab or Alpine Designs?

Thinking about either, so I don't have to deal with that shit later on when I go with 35's.

Ged Goat fab had it for months. I don't like the design of the Alpine since it doesn't actually move the mount itself just the bracket that holds it. But with just 35s you should be good with the Alpine so it's pick your poison. Since I'll be tubbing and running 37s the RGF is a better choice IMO

I feel like Eddy could fab up a similar mount like the Alpine but at less of an angle so it would be more sturdy. I'd need him to install it anyway...I'll talk to him about it next time I'm down at the shop.

RGF is nice too, but requires a total relocation which I don't think is completely necessary at this point.

I got the Alpine one, just ordered it, I prefer the design but Skip makes a good point about the RGF one in regards to running 37's. I think alpine would be good enough to do 35's. im only doing it because im doing a 1'' BL and new bushings, so I might as well just chop it off and move it while im in there. I doubt I will ever have 35's just 33/34, but it will look cleaner then just cutting a bunch off the factory one.

Eh, the more I look at the Alpine, I'm just not feeling it...the severe angle at which it is mounted as me worried. I can't imagine that it would hold up to long term abuse, plus the damn bolt is out in the open and exposed...

Does the RGF require anything other that just drilling a new hole in the cab and welding on the new mount?

I think it would hold up fine if its welded on well but I do see your concern for sure, at least with the RGF one the supports are right under the mounting point and act as gussets of sorts. I don't wheel to hard to be worried about that hahaha the bolt is just as open and exposed on the RGF one but as far as I know that's all there is to it, drill and weld.

Might just get the RGF...skip the whole CMC and do it right to being with.
