Next time I get to a welder, I am skipping a bigger CMC and having my RGF burned in. The jump to 35's will be easier.

I have access to a plasma cutter and a good welder (machine and person)...I feel confident about getting it installed.

16’s are way overkill imo. I’m wheeling with all SAS’ed mini’s, 4Runner’s, and some 80’s, all 37”+ and most run a 12” shock. I run a 14” rear shock and it’s probably overkill too

Then build them yourself it's a pretty basic thing. I just wanted something ready to go with no hassle of building something.

The new design doesn't require drilling a hole it traps a carriage bolt inbetween the body and a 3/16 piece of steel but I am still going to drill through the body and sandwich that piece of steel for a little extra strength.

You're probably right. I am going to get these 14s on and positioned then cycle the suspension a bunch and see what I get. If there is some room for some more flex I will try and take advantage of it. But I don't foresee needing the 16s. There are a lot of other things that I can spend my money on.
