Yes, same as the first one. (In that pic I was still missing the bottom ones, now all openings are capped)

I don't know if like your fab work or your mountain view more.

    Both are huge wins!

    I don`t

I think it is the fine State you live in.

Depends on the distributor if they can get away with it they will.

A small charge on every ticket adds up quick

    This is just a Vent!!

I got an Emergency call my Plasma Cutter is not cutting correct poor quality cuts.

The usual is your air dry?? Changed Consumables lately?? Your Sure you installed them correct ?

Turns out what I forgot and they did not tell me was they were well beyond the quality cut range of the machine in question and could not live with the severance cut quality for the job.

On the bright side the people in the shop were aware of the problem but the purse holders would not budge that they needed a higher output machine to make 2" cuts

Wow you re getting ripped! I pay $40 for a 135 bottle at my spot. It’s called Gardena Welding Supply

I don’t think it’s the state (even though California is stupid for certain reasons). I’m paying just a couple dollars more for 3 times bigger bottle to be filled and I only live less than 2 hours away from @Rakso

Played with my buddy’s Miller 252 today and thinking about upgrading my machine. Still trying to figure out how to justify a new welder though. My Hobart 210 has been a workhorse for me for the last 4 years.

Been thinking about these 3 options

    Hobart Ironman 230
    Miller 252
    Lincoln 256

I ran a few beads on the Miller today and I liked it. If I do upgrade to any of these 3 machines then I don’t think I’ll ever outgrow any one of them.

I guess the reasons for wanting to upgrade are that I feel like I can still get slightly better welds out of a bit of a higher end machine like the Miller 252 or the Lincoln 256. I also like the thought of being able to run a much larger spool of wire and have it last quite a bit longer.

Any thoughts? Maybe I’m just a tool freak and want a new tool even though I don’t really need it?

    Here is the Miller 252

Big spools are only useful if you will be using it up in less than 4 months. After that you lose quality from the spools tarnishing or worse, rusting.

I go through a 12.5 lb spool in less than 2 weeks so the 33lb spool would probably last me less than 2 months. I’ve built 23 sets of sliders this year along with other various things so the small spools go semi quickly

You would be the exception. No one that does not run a business would gain by being able to buy 44lbs spools.

So who's tried the pipemaster tube notching tools? I ordered the 1.75" one after having fun with a few copes on this front end. Typically I model the tube work in bendtech and print out cut templates, but didn't model everything on this one.
