Do you have cmc plates that work for 35s? After doing some light research it looks like you need to cut more than the standard amount. They recommend the cab mount relocate for 35s...I’m not saying no yet...

I have been looking into 35s for my truck. I have 255 85s in STmaxx. They are a great tire. But, with 35s, i know someone with a third gen on 35s out in Winchester, and he didnt do the relocate of mount. He just did a heavy cmc, the standard cuts and then used the UCAs to push the tire forward. What is the BS on your SCS?

Ok, so he has 3.5 bs on his scs f5s. I dont know if that .5 would really effect it, but i do know there is a thread of a few on here that have done the 35s, with that bs. Its all about what you are most comfortable with. Honestly, 35s look great. But you are going to want to regear, 100 percent. So just think about either spending 1200 on 255s that will work, or 1500 on 35s, and then the regear, then all the cutting. Im not doing 35s myself until im ready for the gears. So at like 100k. In the next few years it will be my time.

I would recommend something like the alpine. Do it once and do it right. I been hacking on mine for years and its rubbing again with the new alignment.

My mistake was to look at pictures of 3rd gens with 35s....I’m pretty sure I’ll stick with 33s. But man they do look like fun.

Service appt is at 0830; it's an hour drive to the dealership; and I didn't bother changing my alarm from 0500.

I would just make my own plates. Just cut it back as far as I could and plate it in. I wouldn’t do a relocate unless you’re going bigger than 35s.

Is this your first relationship? Don't you realize that "whatever you want" from a woman does NOT mean whatever you want?

It means do whatever you want within the aforementioned limitations as discussed previously unless you wish to suffer the repercussions of your decision to demonstrate how little you love me.
