    I have mods
Heat is as hot as it goes. I'll turn the wire speed up some more and see how it does. I tried at the same speed that I was using for flux core and was having a hard time getting the kernel going without tons of sputtering. When I turned it down, I was able to get a nice kernel going. Maybe it was me tho.

Decided to do the MarMount mod on the driver side motor mount. I'm glad I did. There wasn't much life left in the mount and it had began to separate.

It's basically just cutting that stud off and drilling a hole the whole way though. I used a M12 x 90mm bolt an 80mm would be perfect, 90 is a little long. Now when the motor trys to rotate its trying to stretch the bolt instead of the worn out rubber.

Added a neoprene washer on both sides as you will feel some more engine vibes. I haven't driven the truck yet but started it up and it's noticeable at idle. Anxious to see how @Squeaky Penguin HD mounts feel in comparison.

Crappy pic but you get the idea. I don't think this would be possible to do with the differential in there. So something to think about if you ever have yours out.

Some evenings take a turn from what you planned. I was going to free up all the alignment eccentrics and tie rod ends in prep for a 4 wheel alignment.
    But.
Instead I replaced all the coolant spring clamps with european stainless worm gear clamps, resealed my front diff, repaired and reinstalled the hard pipe breather assembly for the front diff (that the PO had completely fucked during a steering rack R&R), routed the wiring for the front diff correctly to stop it fouling the steering gear, sealed the leaking seam for the lower sump on the oil pan, and took a good hard look at the suspension bolts I was *supposed* to be messing with. Where, oh where, does all the time go. Oh, yeah- also replaced the T handle on my $50 camper shell so it locks now. Which technically makes it a $65 camper shell...

I’m kinda worried about tolerances and whatever finish someone were to use, huge like where pin goes through and such.

Don’t know how think that stuff is in the end

Never really a fan of the bushwalkers, though I did look into/consider them. And fiberglass is expensive and a lot of work. Don't see the point to that, just to run a certain set of wheels.

Interesting. I like the silver, but I liked the bronze too. Might consider.

Only the exterior handle part would need painted if you're making it out of aluminum. It won't rust. Will want to use a strong allot though that won't wear or break as easy

Guess that’s true, as for material I was thinking I’d talking to the shop owner and see if they had a recommendation and some googling.

Lots to go before that though.

I know a guy trying to get rid of his 16" Ray 10s with 4" BS. Custom rock engraved too.

I'm on 3.5" bs with a 255 tire and don't think the mud is too bad. I don't have an open bed though to catch it all either but my topper stays relatively mud free. I do have an 04 with the wider flares though.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Could also mill UHMW or Phenolic Resin, both would be cheaper than aluminum and stronger than the PLA or ABS shit Toyota uses

The $25 deposit system works great. I get enough to purchase materials and run production, and it bides me over until I'm ready to ship.

Maybe casting would be more cost effective? Just a guess. You make a 3D printed piece and make it out of say Aluminum with Lost PLA casting. @JKO1998

Speaking of door handles, is there a way to adjust the point where it unlatches (if that makes sense)? Ever since I crushed in the passenger side door it doesn't seem to unlatch until you get the handle lifted all the way up while the drivers side unlatches towards the middle or bottom. Also the damn passenger side door lock barrel doesn't seem to work now either. I have lived with it like that for nearly a year now so it's not a huge huge deal (I have lived with broken AC since bought the truck 2 years ago) but it is annoying to have to go to the drivers side and unlock that door then hit the unlock button just to get into the passenger side (first world problems I know).

Same issue I had with the ditch lights I ordered from them as well, although I think I got the hardware, but not having instructions was a bitch! Took 10x longer because I was having to google and search through threads to find information.

Happy I got a good fabricator two hours south of me. He doesn’t typically make first gen stuff but he built me some sliders and welded them on for me.

Made a really nice swingout bumper for a member on here 5 years ago. I’ve been wondering if I can convince him to build one more:

just replace the handle lol. They are cheap if you get a Dorman unit...I'll spare everyone from me going into my rant as to why I think the Dorman units are superior to OEM but suffice to say, I have a lot of experience replacing OEM door handles and the Dormans are the only ones that have lasted (the design is a tad bit different in a good way).

Hopefully you didn't bend the rods that connect to the handle somehow when you crushed the door...either way, whether you replace it or look to see if the rods are broken/bent, you have to remove the door panel. It's not bad but have extra clips handy.

Added 2nd gen off road wheels along with BFG 265/75/16 tires. Ended up using 1/4 spacers on the front wheels since they would slightly touch at full lock, other wise there was no trimming needed and fits pretty good for being stock height.

Right now i worked out a deal with another member to buy the set of matching wheels so i can use 1 of them as my spare. The rest im going to sell to other members on here looking for a matching spare.

    I have mods
Spent a little time this morning replacing vacuum lines and various others that don't hold any pressure. All new lines are black silicone from siliconeintakes.com. Nice heavy walled stuff so it shouldn't collapse under vacuum.

Doesn't really look like I changed anything. Still a few lines to replace but they are much more difficult to get to.
