The new ones with the evolve cam system are fantastic. The 70# pull on mine vs the 70# pull on an Obsession is light years apart

R&D is spendy. With something freshly R&D'd you'll have to lose money on the initial "run" until you reach that break even point. Unlike aluminum risers where it's just a cnc program and a button push away. The carbon risers are a little more in depth I would assume. Gotta pay to play, that's what they say right?

I finally got a chance to drive down and pick up my bow. I decided on the Bowtech SR6. I opted for FDE, just wasn't feeling their camo options. The Kryptek was ok, but they didn't have any in that camo, so that made up my mind. Unfortunately my SKB case is to small so I got to get another one, but we don't buy bows because they fit in our cases do we?

I almost did the same but I think I’m gonna stick with the Hyperforce for another year. I got skunked last season so it’s 0fer and needs a little harvest action before I move on lol.

I’m guessing there is a group that just won’t part with them for sure. Probably one of the top bows if not the best bow that Mathews has ever made. Just a very sound no gimmicks well constructed accurate bow. Super short axle to axle as well which I love.

I just sold my MQ1, I haven’t shot it in a while till last week while getting it ready for my buddy. I forgot how smooth and sweet that old bow was. I love the speed of my Hoyt but old solo cams will always have my heart lol.

Had a good time with a buddy in Arkansas. Was my last chance to put some meat in the freezer for the season (did not fill my tag out here). Way different style of hunting than what we do out west.

Got back to town and a buddy took apart my bow, reset everything to factory specs (A2A, BH, timing, etc) and yoke tuned, put on a new sight for me (Spot Hogg Tommy Hogg), and rebalanced my front and side stab. Need to grab the bow from him this weekend.

Also got some new strings from Mountain Muffler Steve Baker for my trad bow.
