"This 2001 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Xtracab 4×4 was purchased new by its current owner from Toyota of Orange, California in April 2001 and shows under 49k miles. Power is provided by a 3.4-liter V6 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. Modifications include a dealer-installed TRD supercharger as well as an aftermarket exhaust system, a 2″ Fabtech suspension lift, and polished wheels with BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. The clutch was replaced at 31k miles, while the most recent service was an oil change in January 2019. This Tacoma is offered by the seller on behalf of its owner with books, partial receipts, two replacement keys, a Carfax report, and a clean California title." - bringatrailer.com

Past examples of the same condition have fetched close to and sometimes over $20k. What are your predictions for this one?

If you read the comments, seller states the dealer had the transfer case out repairing a leak under warranty. They offered at that time to replace the clutch damn near labor free if the owner bought a new clutch.

It's a nice truck, too bad about the paint chipping severely. A new paint job isn't cheap, so I can't see this going for more than $16k based on the paint issues alone.

Fabtech suspension lift = subtract $5k form price... lol

Frame looks like a pretty typical (non-coastal) California frame, but would be nice if they showed the rear by the leaf perches.

If this goes for more than 20k, they're drunk and/or stupid.

One never really knows I have seen people go down right crazy at auctions .

Unless this is a sealed bid .

Sometimes I think this is more to keep the other bidder from winning then what the item is worth

My truck had 150K on it when I got it almost a year ago. It had some worn out steering stuff on it and
needed the dashboard removed to get a new heater box. After tax it cost around $11,000 and that
other stuff cost several $1000... I just ordered good suspension for it, and it still isn't supercharged.

A nice looking unwornout supercharged one with 40k miles on it seems pretty desirable... I've never even
    seen a supercharged Tacoma...

I have never driven or seen up close a supercharged either and would love to test one out, see what's what. I have always thought my truck was rather quick (once I get out of 2nd gear), Of course I had upgraded from a 4cyl '95 non-Taco at the time that had trouble accelerating (and sometimes keeping the momentum) uphill with a light load in back

I vote it will go over $20K. It's a low-mile Southern California vehicle, the cosmetic issues are minor and the junky Fabtech lift is merely a set of coils, not a drop-bracket lift requiring a sawzall amputation of the front crossmember.

Why would somebody offer this truck with a door lock that doesn't work? Dumb. The lift and the tires/wheels lower the price.

I say around $17,000 takes it, unless like Wyoming09 says somebody comes down with a case of auction fever.

I voted over 20K because of the supercharger and low miles

I was watching a really nice 76 (or so) Honda Civic that sat at $6,000 until the last second and then sold for $25,000 a
week or so ago on BAT...

That's a cute little truck. Kinda makes me wish I had shopped around for a low mileage first gen and saved $20K
