Nice, I've almost pulled the trigger on the ARB a few times. But I always have something else come up with the truck that I need to spend money on.

I'll most likely end up getting a DIY weld-together kit of a different brand since they can be had for pretty cheap, then get someone around me to weld it up.

The ARB is nice though because it's one of the only ones that works with the airbag sensors.

I think so too. A lot of people like to hate on it but only because it's one of the most popular bumpers around. Popularity brings out the haters

There's a thread that's quickly turning into a Friday thread in the 3rd gen forum...guy's wife grenaded (literally) his truck's rear diff trying to get out of a snow covered parking space. Apparently she shifted in and out of drive/reverse a few times while gunning it and blew up the rear end, he was asking why Toyota wouldn't cover it under warranty. Typical Friday thread comments ensued.

I don't want to leave too much of a paper trail and get banned for encouraging shenanigans lol. Just hit the 'new posts' button and it'll be in the top 10 threads that pop up I'm sure. Rear Diff Major Damage

I'm guessing she was on the throttle while shifting it from drive to reverse, not to mention being on snow and pavement probably caught traction and boom

yeah there's definitely more to it, either on her part or something not quite right with the truck I dunno...I'm surprised no one in that thread has asked yet if it was part of the rear diff recall being that it's a 2016, maybe it's been seeping for a few years and was low on gear oil.
