Yeah, but your 92 weighed at least 600 pounds less than mine, so 5.29s would probably be a little over kill. There's a good thread on outlying how the 5.29s actually work better with the 3rd gen's 6speed auto since our trucks are basically 4 speeds with 2 over drive gears.

You should start with 4.56, and I'll buy them from you when you go to 40's and 5.29.

 

Wow, I saw that gear chart in there. I didn’t realize the automatics were so tall geared in the 3rd gens. My Neighbor has a 17’ automatic on 285’ I need to go take it for a drive and see what they feel like.

 

Man. The last three tickets (over 10ish years?) have all been for expired tabs. Seems to be one thing that always slips my mind.

 

Annnnnd I'm just gonna go online meow and buy mine before I forget. They expired in february.

 

I "allegedly" moved from PNW to SD, CA in 1993.
WA didn't require smog or even that you have the vehicle in WA to get WA registration, just a residence.
I "allegedly" mailed $$$ to my parents and they would "allegedly" mail me my registration to my P.O. box in CA.
This might have continued until I sold the car in 2009 after owning it from the odometer reading 00033 in Sept 1986.

Oh, and CA requires plate change within 10 days of residence...

 

Mine is a 17 on 285s and isn't that bad to be honest. It actually felt better than stock when it was on 255s. But I think it would be a total snail rolling on some bigger and heavier 35s with stock gearing.

 

I get emails like 2 months before they are due now.

 

and yet I still space it out until it's at least a month past expiration

 

haha i did the first time. Now i just dont read the message so it bugs me till I do it

 

I need something a little more robust. Like, if I had to fight a killer rabbit every day past the expiration. That would get my butt into the DOL.

I'm at 2300 rpm at 60, stock gears with 33s

 

We have the worst voters but this stand in front of a grocery store and get people to sign multiple page initiatives in seconds based on a skewed and bias perspective is bullshit too. I940 for instance, "sign here for more police training....." And a bill so flawed a fix was run thru legislation the first day they were back in session.

That interior is unfortunate, but you can't beat the price. I prefer the short wheelbase models, the L is too long for my taste, but the E38 is one of the all-time great BMW designs.
