That's a great pic Dr. !!! I like the pocket style fender flares a lot. I had them on my Tundra. I would put them on the Tacoma, but I might have them color matched.

yeah its weird, comparing the pictures to other ones that are a little more expensive, the more expensive ones show the fake bolt heads already on the flare. and that's a lot of nuts and bolts in that bag hahahaha

They rely on the fender liner clips and screws to actually secure to the truck. Guess who doesn't have any front liners? This guy.

Fronts are torx bit bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts; all stainless. I had to cut the piss out of the fronts. All but one hole lined up in the front. Sent a bit through the fenders and never looked back. Easy to drill with the dorkel mod.

The rears are a little different. The very front most hole lines up and the furthest hole back does too (well did). Since the HC install, I had to drill a new hole on each of the rear sides. Again, cutting for an HC and drilling for the fender support bracket makes another tiny hole easy.

Well, the Bushwackers I bought for my Tundra back in the day came with all the fake bolts off. I had to put them all on. The flares bolt to the inside of the fender lip. You remove all the existing hardware in the lip, and reuse some of it and then have to add a couple more here and there to make the flares more stable.

The ones you posted don't fit my truck.

Saw your post after I posted but yea, sounds like what I had to do as well. I never drilled any holes in the sides of the fender only in the lip.

That just means the more expensive ones have a higher marketing allowance.

It says they accept returns. Honestly, I bet it is the exact same thing. Now, what I would be leary about would be the material they are made of. It says they are injection molded but with what? If it is ABS Thermoplastic like Bushwacker then shit, no question buy them. If is some cheap plastic that will get brittle and crack easy under pressure screw that. Especially up where you are. The other thing is the hardware. Stainless or some chrome plated crap. Bushwacker uses Stainless. Knowing how much the Dr. uses his truck and where he got his I still say you have nothing to lose. They could be exactly like his and his work.
