    3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
    If you're a manual I think you could get away with 4.56s, Though it wouldn't be nearly as nice on the trails. Most swear by 5.29s with 35s anyway, my reasoning for 4.88s was because all my miles will be on the road

    5.29s are getting mighty thin though. Easier to break a diff if you get bound up with a locker. I'm probably going to beat myself up going back and forth on this until I pull the trigger on it, which will be soon, hopefully, and it's too late to change my mind, lol. Realistically, all my road miles are put on the T4R while the OGT collects dust, but if I did attend an out of state meet, unless I trailered the OGT up there like Todd does, that would be a lot of miles at high revs. I wish I did have an auto though. The T4R is a lot more trail friendly than the OGT is. Probably more durable and more capable if all else was equal.

    Well, if you ever want to put a manual T-case in it just grab the whole thing, tranny and T-case. I'm guessing it should bolt right in and the FJ tranny has a higher OD gear (.80, not much but something anyway)...It's the RA61F I mentioned. Doesn't look like it has a removable bell housing though, dammit. :pout:

    Yea I wish I got the double over drive like the 3rd gens. Also wish the reverse wasn’t so stinking tall. I have to either slip the clutch or use 4lo backing my jet ski up my driveway and it’s not really that steep.

    Crawl box or a twin stick would cure that. 2Lo FTW.

    That's the one thing besides the 14 bolt Corporate that I'll ever admit GM did right back in the day. They had two bell housing patterns, a small block and a big block. You could practically put any transmission they made on to any engine they made.

    Crawl box or atlas 4. There’s a guy who makes a plug and play module that allows 2lo with the factory t case. Been eyeballing it for a while.

    Atlas is not an option with the 2nd and 3rd gen manual transmissions due to the 19 spline output shaft. Marlin crawler also doesn’t have a solution for it either right now.

    Yeah, I know it says that but try to add it to your cart and check out. I’ve spoken with them on the phone and they said they don’t have a solution for the 19 spline output shaft at this time.

    Atlas says they have a 2nd gen manual solution but it says the Spud shaft is to convert from 22 spline Toyota to 23 jeep spline. There's some fuckery going on with the info out there

    Edit: and according to that Marlin transmission chart, Toyota doesn't even have a transmission with a 22 spline output
