I'm considering installing 17" Method wheels in either 313 or 310 style and I'm wondering if any of you folks has had any luck, good or bad, with Method products? Not much off road stuff here so I'm looking at road wheels.

    The 313

    and the 310

Method is very quality product. Discount tire sells them all the time. One of their top selling products. Top wheel you have pictured has a bead flange for airing down so you don't have to worry about slippage. Very cool design besides the idea of bead locks.

i’ve heard of plenty of people breaking them. however i’ve heard of people breaking all brands of wheels.

kevin and team there are investing in releasing a good product but like anything manufacturing issues can occour.

    buy them and don’t worry

Had mine for a year, no issues whatsoever. Other than the big ugly ass center caps. E9F2918A-709D-4810-A2F9-E2D3BBA4614D.jpg

Thanks. Keep chiming in. I’d like to see some photos of the various Method wheels on your trucks as well.

I just installed these - 702’s and love them.
The pics on the web dont do justice.

Awesome wheels. I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger. Only thing better IMO is Volk, and they're insanely expensive.

The BEST bang for the buck wheels are Method and SCS. Are there better wheels out there? Sure. But you will spend another 500-1000 to get em.

Had mine for a little over 5 years now n no issues, theyre pretty well made, just not hub centric, they are lug centric wheels. I have ripped the center caps ofd on rocks, but there is a guy on here who sells replacements that dont stick out as much BC158CC2-35CD-44E8-AB83-90CF63FC8560.jpg

I think the hub centricity depends upon which model/year you buy.
Just got the 702’s and they are hub centric.

I had the same center caps. I was looking at options to change them. I have 5 wheels so I used the 5th one to experiment (I wanted the Meso caps but wasn’t sure when he will make more). I ended up modifying mine. I can do a write up if there’s interest. I also have a set of TRD decals with metal backing that I was going to use before I figured out how to modify them. They are still new unused and I’ll likely post them in the For sale section. Here’s a couple of pics.

Nope, the conical acorn lugs do a good job

good to know, my methods nv's are not...from their websit it says there are hub centric fitments for their 17" on the wheels you have and what the op is looking at

Can a stock height TRD Sport DCLB with 17 x 7.5 wheels and +30 stock offset accommodate a 17 x 8.5 with a zero offset without rubbing? Tire rack offers the setup so my assumption is they've done the research but I thought I'd ask here.

Did you just cut the plastic Method cap and insert it from the rear?

Exactly! Also have to dremel a fair amount from the insides to clear the front hubs.
