    Y’all are a lively bunch today.

    Quick question for those that may have ideas. I twisted off two of the mounting bolts on this winch while removing it from the bumper. Any idea how to get the remainder of the bolt and the nut out of the winch? How easy is it to dismantle the housing of the winch?

    I’ll post pics tomorrow

    First, if you're lucky you may be able to tighten the nut and have it pull the remainder of the bolt through the threads in the winch and everything will just come out that way.

    If not, remove nut and: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screw_extractor

    A little heat or penetrating oil might make things easier if you have to go the second route.

    Anyone with experience, a garage, and the required tools near Raleigh want to help me install some extended Kings+res, Total Chaos UCAs, and Icon RXT leaf springs?

    I'm short on tools and experience with Taco lifts, but I'm very willing to provide beer, work hard, and learn quickly! I don't want to pay a shop to do the install because I'd really hate to miss out on the first-hand understanding of my truck.

    I'd be eternally grateful.

    A little of this and a little of that.
    I’ll be tackling my lift in the very near future with similar components (Ext-T CO’s, UCA’s, RXT L-packs, etc.) I’m fairly well equipped to do it myself. However, it’ll be via limited resources (i.e., jack stands, small(ish) garage, etc. :anonymous:). A couple extra pairs of hands would be an added bonus too. Could very well make a weekend out of it with some grillin n’ chillin....*cough* hint, hint *cough*....Just saying.
