    This is my current project:

2006 Audi A6 with the 4.2 V8. S6 front end and air suspension. The tranny is acting up and it needs a few other items like an AC compressor, valve cover gaskets, and a good detail.

    Does it rub when lifted?
I almost ripped my fender out taking a turn too fast and hit a bump

Sooo, I’m curious, I notice a lot of people here get really moist about SCS rims, I’ve looked for threads about them but just find builds with them or sales/trades. What’s the deal and why do so many guys run them?

No rubbing with the stock wheels that are on there at the moment. I need to dial in the alignment and fitment with the new wheels to ensure they don't rub, because they will set flush with the fenders.

They're good looking wheels with reasonable pricing. Also, the F5 is one of the lightest truck wheels available, which is an added bonus.

To go further into the "good looking" part: they keep the designs simple and don't add a bunch of bullshit like fake bolts to their wheels.

That's just my main email for me lol. I can't stand a cluttered inbox let alone having unread emails. So stuff like that I leave as unread and it annoys me so I just take care of it.

That fix was actually what they approved last year prior to it being introduced as an initiative. The fixed version was actually the originally introduced version initiative wise. But someone threw a hissy fit and took it to court. Don't remember all the details now but it is pretty much an iniative stemming from the legislature has to be unchanged and since the "modified" version violated that they had to resort to the original. Upon which most of the legislature and the pro people stated would be corrected immediately if passed.

And you can't just order a set and have them immediately, can't just walk into a store and buy them (generally speaking), and have to know the secret handshake to get a set. So once you do get them everyone will see them and go dammmmmnnnn that dude has hookups!

It was our buddy Tim eyman. The fix was a cooperative effort between deescalate Washington and wacops. Regardless, point stands that the citizens voted in laws so broken they were dead in the water.

@JDAM what does your registration say your gross vehicle weight is? Apparently the dol thinks my truck scales out at 3950lbs, and gross weight is 4000lbs. That's probably why yours is more than mine. :ohsnap:

Anyone running an alucab canopy on a third gen? Considering one but would like to see it up close in person. Any ideas on how to ventilate it for a dog?

As in the Dana Corp? Like same guys who make the Dana Axles? If so dont see why it would be an issue if they fit.

If they were being installed on a HD diff I’d have no problem doing it, never heard of them being installed on a taco even though they’re available
