Man! I've been lurkin' craigslist and only seen them pop up a couple times, but people ask like $4 off brand new pricing! They seem to hold their value better than tacomas do!

I didn’t see an answer so I’ll offer an opinion. I have a 1Up hutch mount, and yes, the trays can be unbolted. The holes may not be in the right location for attaching to crossbars ... so you may have to drill some more, to fit your crossbar spacing and clamps, but it seems straightforward.

I always wonder what is going on in their life when I see stuff like that. Function and form go hand in hand. Maybe he is super man to his kids and they just love riding in supermans truck :notsure: he could be dad of the year.

hey my knees been destroyed for 7 years now. i’m really looking forward to a new acl and fixing the torn meniscus. there’s alot of movement in my mcl and pcl but doc thinks fixing the acl and he’s doing a additional ligament on the outside to stabilize the knee further should fix it.

my leg was bent 90 degrees at the knee to the outside so it’s really pretty impressive i’ve done 2 trips to whistler, mammoth, big bear, trail rides, moto since then fixing this should be night and day

Super fun day riding in Co Springs. Really impressed by the trails there.
Muddy as hell, and plenty of snow on the trails, but had a blast.

My son just bought a Timberjack today. 27.5+ build, or I guess what they now call mid-fat (2.8 tires, 41mm internal width rims). It’s pretty nice; can’t wait to ride it but the trails need to dry out a bit. I just saw some rainfall figures for Soquel Demo Forest, a local riding area: 20” of rain in February. We’re in “sunny” California. Anyway, the Timberjack seems better equipped and just more cool than equivalently priced Spec or Trek.

Norco makes nice, nice bikes. Salsa is an awesome company with great people and also makes nice bikes. I have a Mukluk, and my husband rides a Bucksaw with a 27.5 set up as his regular mountain bike. I just rode a new Rustler, yesterday and can't say enough nice things about it!
Looking at both builds, it's hard to go wrong. I hope she gets addicted to such an awesome sport like the rest of us!

What size bike? 29er? I’m asking because ur set up is same I’m going to be running. Just little worried my bike may be little to big. 29er xl frame. So I’m think if it doesn’t fit facing forward I’ll just flip it 180 and face the rear.

Yep, 29 medium. It’s long though at 1208 mm.
If it’s facing forward it’ll just be longer in the back. Front tire doesn’t move, but the rear tire just moved further back. As long as it fits in the frontloader, it’ll fit facing forward.

Sorted the dj bike now I can do bar spins. Correction: now the bike can do bar spins, not me yet.

Removed the front brake, changed the rear to an xt, and a bling rotor because why not.

Can someone school me on rear shock standards? I've got a Rockshox Monarch RT3 184X42 that needs rebuilt. But I found a Fox float dps evol 200x57mm I may just buy instead.

I realize the eye-to-eye isn't identical but within 0.5". Will it work or do shock dimensions have to be identical?

After I get done with a big canada trip, and buying a house, I think a Rocky Mtn is in my future. They had one on massive sale at one of the local shops the other day, but I just couldn't do it in good faith to my wallet.

All the SLC trails have been swamped out from all the snow melt for as long as I can remember. I'm itching to get back on the bike!

At least the powder skiing has been good lately. But I miss getting my thrills for free, not $70-120/day. Maybe I need to take up alpine tour / backcountry skiing.
