McAfee keeps picking up a virus (RDN/Generic.RP) as I try and download V12.20.024

 

Disable your av.

 

Is your TS activated either crack or whatever method?

 

Get a cracked version of techstream.

 

and accept the virus ?

What is RDN/Generic.rp Virus?

RDN/Generic.rp is newly found as system virus detected as Trojan Virus. This vicious computer malware is a very big risk for all Windows OS computers system. It may smoothly insert your PC without your knowing and perform severe damaging activities in your machine. It may also block your anti-virus software and windows firewall program to stay safe for a long time in to your PC. It may slow down your system speed and causes sluggish performance. I've tried 13.3 & 12.2 cracked TS

 

Did you go through all the instructions where you replace the executable and fill out some fields with junk in the registration for TS? You’ve gotta be able to launch TS before the cuw will work

 

Yes. Not sure about the executables but TS does work. I use it to clear my learned values. However it is 13.30.

 

I hate this surge. Excited to get this next tune when it drops. 87 performance gear lock ACVT Medium Tip is gonna be the shit.
The power band looks great with your adjustments. I like the bump in torque at that range as that is where my truck is most the time. Top in power gains are nice but I'm rarely at WOT

 

Which directions did you follow? There’s one that doesn’t work with the cuw files but works as just TS. the one where you replace the executable and fill out the reg page with junk is the one I used and know works.

 

Initially downloaded 13.3 that required filling everything in. Worked for TS but not for CUW. Installed the 12.2 version and it automatically removed the 13.3 Now that I have the 12.2 it still doesn't allow me to open CUW. Strange thing is, when I downloaded the CUW file yesterday it downloaded onto my desktop in Grey,Black and Red. Now it's only grey and won't open unless I enter a key into the TS Software Registration, which, doesn't work using the number given in the Key instructions.

 

How do you replace the Main menu exe.

 

I write this for anyone searching on the VCRUNTIME140.dll problem. It's been accurately stated in earlier posts that you can obtain the file from the Microsoft Update Center by downloading the latest c++ redistributable whatevertheheck that is. I did all that I still couldn't run the new Flash Manager. What did the trick was I searched my hard drive for the file "VCRUNTIME140.dll", found it in a folder I would never have otherwise found, copied it, and pasted it into the folder where the new Flash Manager application sits. For me, that was:
C:> Program Files > OV Tune > ToyotaFlashManager 1.0.4 > ToyotaFlashManager
After I copied the dll file into that folder, flash manager ran just as it was supposed to, per the instructions on OVTUNED.com.

Just thought I'd post this, as I have benefited so much from posts about this stuff in the past...

 

That's how I exactly fixed my FM on the day of its release. People were just too busy looking for the easy fix by just clicking enter.

All you have to do is copy the file and place it in the location specified after install.

 

How do I download the performance tunes?
Flash manager has been updated.....

 

So for 2 days now my truck has been really weird. I’m driving it and the response is fine and it’s driving normal than all of a sudden the response is gone and it’s super sluggish with no power. If I floor it it literally has no response like full on dead pedal.I get home from the drive turn the truck off. Get back in 1hr later to leave again truck drives better this time but still has weird acceleration. It has rough idle and it stumbles a lot at idle and when the heater fan comes on it’s shoots up 300rpm sound like Crankshaft sensor issue? Really need some help on this.

 

Have you tried clearing the ecu/TCU via TS?

 

So 04B03 Performance tunes including the new 87 are still coming correct?
