I'd be tempted to correct that for you, but I've seen LA traffic and I'm afraid that you actually mean mph instead of mpg, lol.

An automatic Mustang? Is that more efficient at killing innocent bystanders and coffee and car meets?

My kids were taught from the beginning to drive a stick. Just to make sure they were never stranded if a friend had too much to drink and could not drive. I have auto's now. '80, '89 and 2000 Tacomas were sticks and 2000 4 Runner was a stick. 2019 DCLB Off Road is obviously an Auto. I personally do not care for the look of the DCSB.

The Civic debuted as a 1973 model. Not all Civics were CVCC's. I believe that model was introduced in 1975 and did not use a catalytic converter. CVCC = Compound Vortex Controlled Combustion

The Accord debuted as a 1976 model.

Haven't tried yet.Probably not, though, since it's just the Ecoboost instead of the 5.0. Still good for something like 325hp, but also for 30mpg if you don't drive like a lunatic. Her commute is 100 miles round trip, and 90% interstate, so it's perfect for her needs.

    Hahaha!

I was trying to teach my oldest and she said it required too much thinking. I think those pedals might solve it?

    You're not alone.
Took me a week to figure out how to start this truck.

Nobody said it’s hard, rather it’s a dying skill. It’s more about the way a broader (yet basic) skill set is lost through “advancements”. It’s much like people that can’t (and have never) read a map because of GPS. And ironically they even get lost with a machine telling them where to go.

Got my '05 Tacoma specifically for the MT. Makes driving more fun in my opinion. Also, have had 4 other MT vehicles and I learned my wife and kids to drive them. BUT my wife prefers an AT and I drove a '19 Tacoma as a loaner recently and it wasn't bad - so I will probably be getting an AT next time.

My kid is away at college. His program has 21 kids in his year. Only my son and two others can drive a manual. The other two grew up in England and Spain. So of the American born kids only 1 of 19 can shift gears.
