I prefer 'balance' or maybe 'accentuate' as opposed to survive, but survive is probably more honest.

I'm drinking right now so disregard most of what I say

Does it screech when you press the clutch? Maybe the throwout bearing

I have the idle chirp, too...have had it for years now. For the longest time I thought that was the throwout bearing but have recently learned it's the other way around...the throwout bearing makes noise when you press the clutch pedal in. If the noise goes away when you press the clutch, it could be your input bearing.

It's funny because there are so many threads on here saying that the chirp is the throwout bearing, but if you google 'bad throwout bearing symptoms' it'll tell you that the throwout bearing makes noise when the pedal is pressed down. My chirping goes away with the pedal pressed down. Which if you look up 'bad input bearing symptoms' its described as a noise that goes away with the clutch pedal pressed down.

When you press in your putting pressure on it. Aka no noise.

That was what I thought but I also see other articles saying it's the other way around, aka this screenshot here

when I depress the clutch pedal, the noise goes away...it doesn't get louder

ugh why can't Toyota just make a decent clutch assembly lol. I got my first clutch replaced because of the annoying chirp, it was gone initially after that but it came back with the new one within the first 5k miles. I've just been living with it since then.
