@Taco-Grinder ,congratulations. Got some coffee going down finally. March is here and so is winter, hopefully not for to long. Short weekend, have to work Sunday. My boss thinks this will help get caught up,it won’t. Two things this will accomplish, he will get his ass chewed less, and I will get a bigger paycheck. Sounds like a good plan , or a lack of a plan. We have been having problems with warping wood due to the cold weather and dry heat in the building. This happens every winter, upper management didn’t see it coming,REALLY ! I asked the big bosses if they have been monitoring the material with a moisture meter, they looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. This is what happens when you have newer managers from the Automotive Industry trying to manage the Boat Building Industry. Asshats don’t know port from starboard.

You are correct, they are way to smart to listen to someone with 40 plus years working with wood.

Good morning. My new norm is working Monday thru Saturday, Sunday's off for rest and laundry. No way to catch up to shit that got pushed back, just working a full 6 days a week in hopes of having some of the projects come together at the end of the season. Still need to get the ac unit on the loader rebuilt but doubt I can get it in the shop till June or July. The compressor is coming apart and contaminated the entire system with little particles and pieces. Been going out since I got here 5 years ago, just kept pushing. Not this year. It's going in... just as soon as I finish this last project.

Finish coffee, load lunch box, put on boots, out the door. Y'all have a great day.

    Morning all

More rain, and more all week. We cried about the drought for 3 years and multiple fires and now we have the wettest season on record.

The power company up north just admitted the camp fire was their fault. Wiped out the town of paradise and killed 85 people. The tower was way past due for maintainence and they kept putting it off. They just put 10 billion aside for settlements.

My brother is retiring in June and bought a house about a 100 miles east of paradise, almost impossible to get fire insurance right now.

    Morning chores done.
    Diesel and gas filled.
Moved some stuff around the garage for the storms.
Decided to pull out the backup blower and use that this storm.
Told the other two not to get upset as they were next. Lol.
Going to treat myself this noontime.
Bought a pound of haddock and some cream corn.

    Yea..

    With Ketchup.....

    Just Kidding...

Close the books on 2018. Taxes done. Not much of a return....but don't owe...so there is that.

Finding out what the cost of saving is all about . $190 increase in refund would cost $298 in additional forms filed.
