Black on the sport wheels is a night and day difference, whenever I see black sport wheels I think it's not OEM. I think stock sport wheels look hideous but when they're painted black they look great

 

Agreed.... and was cheaper than buying new wheels. WIN/WIN for me.

 

I plasti dipped my wheels black, I was going to get the 16 inch glossy pro wheels but now I'm debating if I want to just powder coat the stock ones

 

Looks good! I have a guy who works in an automotive shop and he’s always done all our custom painting on the side. Everything I’m doing is for looks so I couldn’t see buying new wheels. As soon as she’s ready for tires I will go a lil bit bigger. Waiting for better weather to put the black overlays on badges then I’m done.... I think

Good for you... I was the opposite. I had everything done right away. Mostly because I’m inpatient LOL. I’ve had mine since September 2018.

You don't plan on ever using your hi beams? Or do the pics just make it appear that you blacked out the hi beam reflector bowls?

I often don't use high beams, never actually. No they're blacked out, not my intention but that's how they turned out because the shadow chrome laid down so bad. Light output is terrible.
