Ok so I'm about to make the switch to a Droid on AT&Ts service. The Samsung Captivate.

    • Downloads like you'd find on iTunes?
    • Can you get external memory cards?
    • How would you go about downloading music from Limewire to the phone? through Windows Media Player or does it have its own "iTunes"?

I'll have many other questions soon but these are the biggest ones right now.

Unless this has changed - AT&T was charging $20 a month for this on the iPhone

It does have expandable memory meaning you can add more memory like a micro sd. Putting music would be simple with just a micro SD since you just need to transfer music simply by copy and paste. I would stay away from limewire. That place is full of virus.

Yes.. and what if I dont get a Mirco SD card right then? Can it be downloaded on to the phones hard drive?

And I've been using Limewire for about 4 years, Nothing has happened. I only use it for songs, no movies or anything.

did you jailbreak it to get tethering going on it? I think only the overseas iPhones have tethering builtin because those providers don't impose as many restrictions as at&t does over here
