Took the Tacoma in for state inspection Thursday night, get informed it failed due to frame rust and they will be swapping the frame, on them. All covered under the recall. The truck has 305xxx miles on it, I'll gladly take a free new frame.
In the mean time they gave me a 2018 Tacoma as a loaner, let's see whats up with these 3rd Gens...

I just found some $8-9 led off eBay with the red strip and white strip in one housing. They have an aluminum housing.

Unless Toyota gives me the 2018 at no charge, that won't happen. We have no car payments and don't want one.

Was wondering how long the drums would last. Last vehicleI had that had drums was a 1970 Chevy wood paneled station wagon, and I was 9 yrs old.

Do the center set of LEDs light up when you depress the brake pedal? I haven't seen any pics with them illuminated. Also, what blinks for the turn signal?

I picked them up at the flash sale. He gave me a smoking deal on everything I picked up.

Will do a build one day, my truck is still pretty basic. Just a FOX lift, arms, lots of steel plates, skids; ARB locker, and a 1600wt stereo. Few other items here and there. Really just a constant work in progress. My next build will be a Tundra. Here is my latest pic. It's all over this place.

No pics and really minor but, we are expecting between 4-8" of snow tonight and tomorrow and rain later in the week which means the yard will be a mudpit so, I'm glad my weathertech floor mats arrived two days early.

That truck is badass! My next will be a Tundra but I'm still stuck on my Tacoma.

Thanks, I want a bigger travel trailer, Tacoma can only handle so much. We are heading to Montana next month, set up base camp and explore the area, then move onto somewhere else.

In the same boat. Want bigger camper! This is a few years ago when we picked up the T@B and the truck was stock. Love it and the Taco pulls her without complaint.FullSizeRender.jpg
