What are people experiencing between base and performance 87 when it comes to MPG? I saw someone say it actually went up? Outlier or is that being seen by others? I finally have the option of that tune so just wondering what to expect.

Nah, I was thinking a "tip" of $5 would probably be reasonable.

Anyone in the Denver area with TS on their laptop willing to install T-SB-0062-18? Yah I know I could load it and flash it - just too lazy at the moment. Beer ? Don't want to push buttons for performance and gear lock on 04B03 as Mat is fix'n up some more special sauce for the OVTune gang.

Come to Iowa and I’ll do it for you. It’s a quick 12 hour drive across the great state of Nebraska

I’ll do it for free as the drive across Nebraska is enough pain and suffering lol

I’m enjoying the tip in on the 87 performance tune. I’m pretty light on the pedal anyway. I’m only around 50 miles on the tune still. But it is noticeable and overall feels smoother. Haven’t opened it up on the highway yet. Looking forward to that soon!

456 gears. OV tune. Lift. 285/70/17 tires
Can’t wait for the 87 performance with milder tip in. Currently running 87 base and on second tank. Just went on a 250 mile round trip with interstate, hills, highway, and city mix of driving. Average mpg 20.0 on dash. 3” leveling kit, 4:56 gears and 285/70/17 Nittos. Factor in tire compensation and mpg about 21.4. Truck drives great in ECT mode and pretty good mpg. Great job Matt.

Thanks everyone! New results are one page back and will be on page 1 soon.

With these new developments, new tests and results it's a great time to own a tacoma!!

I think one of the biggest advantages so far that we have bee able to create, is not the peak gains (although they're huge) the stable and smooth increase in power on the engine all the way from bottom to top
