Need another option on the poll. I love it but my state tint laws suck so I cant do that.

Why the hell would you put 40% on your windshield??? Do you not drive at night? That's about what most people put on their side windows.

looks good. too dark for me but looks good.

we tint a lot of windshields in our shop in 70% and 45%. when you do your sides and back dark then add 45% to the windshield, it looks really dark. I used to do 5% on the sides and back of all my vehicles, then do 45% on the windshield. after running three stop signs one night on some back country roads because I couldn't see, I pulled that shit off the very next day and started doing 35% on front doors and 70% on the windshields. getting older sucks!

I guess it’s ok if you don’t mind rolling windows down before you make any left/right turn... one night some goth kid is going to be in the crosswalk and bam..! In my state, you’ll be pulled over and towed to the impound lot within the first 5 miles of driving.

I have 35% on the rears and 20% on the front (I think), plus the factory rear tint, but it is not dark enough for me. You can still somewhat see inside during daylight.

I want to put CIR 5% all the way around and CIR 50% on the windshield...I just don’t feel like taking off the current stuff and ponying up the cash to have it all redone.

I have REALLY good headlights so night visibility isn’t a problem.

if it is SunTek film it is 18% on the front. they don't make a 20% except for their lower line dyed films and I know you don't have that. your job wouldn't actually be that bad. if you are ever in my area hit me up. id be happy to help ya out with it. we don't stock CIR50 though, but honestly CXP45 is just as good. and we do stock that.

I have CXP all around now... that would make sense as the dealer metered the front windows at the last service and they were 18%...my inspection was due and they were trying to be proactive and do it without my permission.

Maaaaan, I have 20% ceramic and its dark in low lit places. Can't imagine how you can see in low lit areas to be safe so as to not running over kids . Plus , I'll get pulled over by first cop that sees it with a hefty fine.

Too bad headlights don’t do anything for visibility to the sides or rear.

    Makes sense.

Do y’all carry CIR 5? What’s that run cost wise?

I think the local guy here has CIR50, 45 will be too dark for the windshield, but 70 is too light IMO.

Never had an issue with it before. I live in the country and have a wide beam pattern in my headlights. Side visibility isn’t a problem while driving.

I currently have "mid" in the rear sides and back with "legal" in the front 2 windows. They wouldn't do anything for the windshield. Im going to switch over to "limo" for everything behind me and mid for the front 2. Maybe add a strip of limo for the very top of the windshield.
