Yeahhh, I've been a bit of a stranger to the forums lately. Things are going pretty well, all things considered!

After all my heart stuff, I'm back to working 12s again - which I'm really happy with! I'm back with all of my old buds again, so that's a good thing. Pennie has ONE MORE round of chemo to go before we head for Houston again, that one's both exciting and terrifying at the same time, but I'm pretty confident we'll get good news.

How's things in your neck of the woods?

Good afternoon all. Done with work, no one called for me to work at the bar. Guess I'm off till Monday. CDL physical first thing then finish prepping to move the circus back up north and get back on track with a project. Hopefully get it knocked out in the next couple weeks. Probably go in tomorrow and do end of month paperwork if I'm not working the bar tonight.....just keep hitting that OT.

I've got an itch I can't scratch. This is an 87 with an L98.

That's one blessing I have. Think I've told it before that my BIL bought an established full service car wash. All I have to do is show up with a tip. Went today. Not much of a break in rain lately.

Nice Camaro but they had major issues plus the motors were very low on HP

The GM Optispark or opticrap ignition is a well know problem as was the L98 with head gasket issues

An LS engine would be a better choice !!

Especially low against today's factory numbers. But for me, it's not for speed, but nostalgia of my era gone by. Always wanted one then, but was no way possible.

As mentioned the GM Opti spark is a major issue which the L98's had . If it ever got wet the ignition would short out

Hang in there. Everything works out for the best, at least that is what I believe. My last project 5 years & $32.5M and my top two guys left on the final stretch and I knew it was coming because the company just didn’t and still doesn’t understand the value of a trained employee. I finished the project and all the final technical issues (the guys that left still helped me even after they left). I finished the project and got offered a job that is awesome, no more 95+ hours a week, no more flying, just 40 hours with 10 hour work days, so three day weekends. 40% cut in pay, but at this point it was so totally worth it.....
It got so bad back in 2012, that I was pushing 120hrs a week and would pass out at my computer. I even had to get woken up after flying into another country for work to get off the plane. The upside to that is that I didn’t have to fight to get my bag out of the overhead....
And then there is always my old gentleman friend Jack, who was a companion that I cherished...
