I have American Family for home/auto and noticed a few months back my premiums went up by $50 a month. I spoke with my agent and they told me the same thing- Everyone's premiums went up due to the hail damage claims made from the storm we had 20 months ago. When i told them that I haven't made a claim in 10 years their response was that is based on all American Family customers and the claims "as a whole" that were payed out by the insurance company. WTF?!

I've also been looking to make a move. Does anyone have Allstate or State-farm and is happy with their coverage and premiums? On a side note, it looks cold AF outside so I think it's time to crack a stout or two :)

not going in for only TSB - they say they can not replicate. Not sure what their issue is other than they have lots to do and no time (ha - 10 minutes) to mess with it. Won't be going back to them (STW) if I can help it. Like dealing with the IRS - guilty until proven otherwise. Out of warranty - although these T-SB don't apply to the base warranty. Since my Service person whom I known for ever left there I dread even going in for anything.

yep that is what the T-SB says - but it has to be replicated and they can't/won't do it so they won't flash it. ugh.

When scheduling my 10k service at Stapp on I25, I mentioned that the truck was hunting around between gears when driving between 40-60 mph (one of the other symptoms mentioned in the TSB), especially where it's slightly hilly (aka the entire front range). When I dropped it off, I mentioned "I heard something about a service bulletin for the gear hunting thing". Got my oil changed, wheels rotated, yadda yadda, and they also applied the TSB. Based on the odometer, I don't think they made it out of the parking lot.

could take it there and see but I just got what I needed done (paid for) at STW so now all I need is the T-SB, which they said they could not replicate - like Brian mentioned - not a good idea to just go in for non-customer paying work - easy for the dealer to say "can't replicate." Guess I just go over and eat all their breakfast stuff and call it a day!

I have a love hate relationship with winter. Snews are pretty and all that but I don't really like snow wheeling so much.

I four wheel drifted into a snow bank earlier turning onto Gold Hill Road from peak to peak... When I realized I wasn't going to regain traction I just turned into it and floored it and bounced over. Hopefully I didn't knock anything out of whack. Steered fine and everything so the alignment should be ok.

Not knowing how far, if at all, you are going to get when you go to a trail is frustrating.

plus not knowing if i should stay layered up in winter gear and be uncomfortable so I can be ready to hop out quick or putting it on/off every time sucks. I would probably stay layered up and run with the heat off if it weren't for the dog.

Yeah, my housemate and I went to Brainard to snowshoe. We were hoping to see some moose, but it looks like you saw them all.
