yeah I will take them into consideration, plenty of options hahaha I was thinking of maybe just a set of the ones Blackout14 sells, they are arched for the lift instead of being like 20 leafs thick lol

Oh yeah, What ever works right. Six of one half one another lol. As long as they work and are priced right. Haha.

Are you carrying a bunch of weight? Or just the cap and soon to be high clearance rear?

@tacoma16 there is also a more HD version for constant weight of 5-600lbs. not sure which ones I should get. I will have a HC with swingout at some point this summer. and then down the road I would like a bed rack with RTT. not sure what the weight difference is between OEM bumper and hitch vs HC with swing out. and not sure how much a bed rack weighs. would have to look into it more.

With the swingout you’ll have some extra weight but I don’t think you would be at the 5-600lbs. Would be close. But not completely.

    Hc with tore gate-200ish lbs
    Rtt-150 and up
    Rack- 100lbw

and those are pretty loose and conservative lol. For a trip I think you would be over 500-600 but to have 3” of lift with 500-600lbs. Damn lol.

yeah I was doing some looking at adding some weights from different sites and yeah, HC is about 200lbs but that not 200lbs more then stock, I would think the stock receiver and steel bumper are probably about 30lbs or so as is. but none the less. I would have roughly 450lbs-ish constant. I would probably be better off with their HD-er version to be safe, those weights done include accessories either, plus I always have something in the bed, either tools or some shit hahaha

these are their other ones, 2-3'' of lift with 5-600 lbs an its a 5+1 pack. not sure how many leafs Dakars and shit have but I know they are thick as balls hahaha

Think 8 or 9 with the extra leaf added. Lots of flex and smooth ride though.

    Thanks Bocsy44.

Thanks Trident167. I saw that last week but I was sure I read that it expired Feb. 28. I just checked again and you are right, I don't see any expiry date now. Too many different options, I must have seen it on another site.

With the coupons SOS and RCI are $17 apart. RCI have a DOM outer rail and are trail tested by Joe and Eugene so I'm now leaning that way.

    Thanks.

Sometimes too many choices can be overwhelming. I'm leaning RCI too.

Yes and no, couple mud holes here and there depending on the weather but a good mix mostly.
This was after the sandy loop on a rainy day

    All of them
Sure do. 5+1 for 500-600lb constant

Its a bit stiff when empty. But when it's loaded down it's the smoothest ride I've ever had.

If you're planning on a lot of weight like I am just make sure your bed is also up to snuff. Bed stiffeners help, keeping on top of those bed bolts too lol.

You may need bigger jacks but for yourself the 500lb pack may be worth your while. And also check out my build thread to see the before and after height in the rear haha

These are the Medium Dakars but I added airbags and cradles for my FWC and did the flip while I was at it. I wanted to go with the HD pack but worried about the ride going to hell with no weight in the back. The Mediums are even stiffer than I would like unloaded.

I went with the Medium Dakar pack as well, I rarely have the bed loaded with weight.

Same and it's still pretty stiff driving around.
    Once loaded its fine.

I think if you don't have a cap and fully loaded bed all the time it's too much to have the heavy duty ones.

no you didn't! god damn! that is one long ass day man but im glad you guys made it home safe!

its the stiff ride im worried about, the only thing that will be on the truck the whole time is the HC rear. I don't even know if I will get a bed rack and RTT for sure at this point, it all depends how often I get out on the trail/camping this summer and if I do get a bed rack it probably wont be for a couple years anyways. The only time my bed will be loaded down is when im getting a load of firewood for at the trailer (which is like a 500m drive) or when im going camping which would just be on weekends now and then. im leaning more towards Blackout's just less HD version, it think it will do me fine for the time being.
