Picked up some new wheels from Dustin at FN Wheels. Amazing customer service and a pretty good dude, would definitely recommend anyone looking for some new wheels to give Dustin a call. I'll some Pictures of the FX Pro wheels in gun metal on my truck tomorrow. But I do have a picture of a shirt I got today as well... I know not a as fun but it's too dark outside right now.

 

Much nicer than the MN state park plates. I figure a middle school kid won a contest or something.

LED swap

 

Lots done today:

- Oil change and install Fumoto valve
- Rear diff oil change
- New fan belt.
- Repurposed stock d-rings from the back of the bed to the front as I have TC bed stiffeners back there now with tie-down points galore
- Previous owner had window visors adhered on, took the heat gun to them and got them off
- Detailed the interior
- Applied skateboard grip tape to the top of the wheel wells. My dogs ride in back everywhere i go and like to put their paws up on those humps. So I figured I'd give them some traction.

 

Actually. I used 2 T4 neo wedge red led bulbs/holders that I had laying around.

Drilled a hole on each cup holder.



Plastic welded the bulb holders to a piece of abs sheet



Then attached the abs piece to the bottom side of the cup holder by plastic welding it in place






Now that I know they work I may add one to the small cup holder since I need to pull the cup holder back out anyways and rewrap it. They vinyl is getting beat up. Also gonna fill the holes where the light shines though with a little bit of clear silicone to seal em up.

I’ve been trying to come up with a way to do this for a while now and this was the best solution I could figure out.

 

Today.

I played in the snow. Drove around the local state forest exploring.

And filled up the tank. 14.9 mpg.

moved there in 96...worked for Dominion Semiconductor and later Micron in Manassas...lived on Golf Drive by Powell....retired a few years ago and moved back North to the Poconos...yup big changes over the years......Last vehicle when I was there....My daughter and her family still live there, usually visit a few times a year....

Did you install your lift yet? I'm thinking of going 3rd notch because I don't want over 2" of lift (only because of all the associated problems doing so). Post some pics if you have put it on, thanks!

Where did you get the flatbed?

 

I plan on doing something similar under the rack on my camper.Why 2 different style panels? (I'm still learning)
