Any chance any of you guys an gals might know where I can get my hands on some extended length U bolts to finish my add a leaf? I Bought some Icon 1.5” with the U bolts problem is they are stock length and I found out after I’ve tore my truck apart and went to install them. I would appreciate any leads because in pretty fucked right now.

Fuckin’ DOL has mine billed at 8,000 lbs for gross weight. I just figured it out last year (never paid attention to it), but you have to get them to change it in person. It’s costing an extra $20, but standing in line at the DOL isn’t worth $20 to me....

I'd pay $20 to not stand in line at the DOL.

Arent those weight fees calculated on a "up to" basis? I thought it was pretty much "up to 4k", then next level "up to 6k" then last was "up to 8k"? Mine is a flat 6k (on the truck) and always just assumed it was that way at least.

No clue. But they do seem way cheaper than Nitro or Yukon though.

yes I believe the more your vehicle weighs the more wear and tear it puts on the road so the more you pay. Last scale weight I got of my truck it weighed 5200.

Eh...50% of their wheels have fake bead locker bolts on them.

They're nice and all, but there's absolutely nothing special about them. They're just cheap cast wheels with a really marketing. It's not like they're 3 piece forged HREs or anything.

Did some shooting up in Elbe Hills state forest. I know of 3 locations up there now.

Made it up to spot two, logging service truck was stuck. Couldn’t pull it out but got close. Tried turning around for help, someone else was stuck.

So, got trapped up near Elbe with a person stuck above and below us. Luckily some good ol’ boys in some pretty built Yota’s came and saved the day.

Got some good shooting in, sun burnt from the snow, and maybe even a new job coming soon.

We should plan a shooting trip when the snow melts.
