i ordered a set of Weather tech and I ended up returning them. They fit a little weird, didn’t go very far up on the floor board, and the texture was pretty hard slippery plastic. I ended up getting the xact contour husky liners and I like them a lot fit much better, go pretty far up the floor board, and the texture is more rubbery so there is more grip.

My only gripe is that the holes for the anchores don’t line up so it’s got these weird screw anchors that don’t work well. I’ve got a 2011 and I think they moved the location in 2012.

That's your opinion but didnt give any input as to why you think that, so it's kinda a moot point.

I had regular Huskies in my 1st gen, they were pretty OK and I liked them at least as much as WT, probably a little more. Not gonna lie, mostly I loved that I got them stupid cheap from Amazon warehouse deals at the time.

My Forester has WTs because Husky doesn't make anything for it. At about 18 months they're doing better than some I've seen in customers' vehicles, they're not curling or almost worn through. They do get weird under the clutch pedal in it, and the cutout for the fuel door release is a poor design.

My '11 got the Husky Xacts. They're expensive, but impressively thick, heavy and rubbery. More like custom fitted heavy mats, that happen to also have raised edges than usual <1/8" liners.

What I would like is to replace my entire carpet with one big rubber liner same dimensions as my entire floor. Never have to worry about dirty carpets again.

And after a search I see they make one at least for the 2nd Gen. Looks a little ghetto I’ll stay with carpet.

My buddy had a ranger in high school that had rubber floors and I was pretty jealous.

They’re great if they look like the carpet meaning flush with the floor.

I'd rather have the carpet with liners... the liners are much easier to pull out and hose off than a whole vinyl floor. I mean... I guess you can hose out a vinyl interior too... but it doesn't sound like a great idea.

I'd like a vinyl floor with liners I could pull out to wash even better, but that's not really a thing, they'd just slip around.

I've had weathertechs, and they started to "peel" up on the edges after a couple years (like, they wouldn't lay flat).

My Husky's are more flexible than my brother's W-Techs making it easier to curve them up during removal resulting in less spilled "stuff" inside the truck and they were less expensive.

I got a set of Cook Shark mats from Amazon and they have been great for about 6 months already. Less price for I believe the same quality. But that’s just my opinion

I recently installed a set of Husky x-act contour mats in my 2013. The fit was perfect and the coverage is amazing compared to my OEM rubber mats. Probably going to order some rear mats soon.

My friend has Weather Techs in his RAM. And honestly they feel slicker and harder than i thought the should. The also slide around a bit under your feet. Based on this observation and reading the above posts I just ordered Huskies X acts

I've got Weathertech mats in 3 vehicles and love them.

The ones in my Tacoma have a different texture than the ones in my 4runner. The ones in the Tacoma are almost rough and are tacky

I can't compare the two but I have Husky X-act contour series and I can't imagine WeatherTech being any better. They really are an exact fit and super durable. $220 for front and back when I bought.
