I have a 2011 Tacoma and about 3 weeks ago a chirping sound started coming from the front end driver side wheel area. It almost sounds like a bolt or something is loose but I can't seem to find it. It only makes this noise going up to about 25 mph and then it disappears. I've looked around the shock area and can't seem to find anything. What could it be? I have king remote resi.

I would check the brake backing plate for being to close to the brake rotor.. Had this happen to me where the shop rotated the tires and bent the backing plate towards the rotor and at certain speeds i thought it was a U-joint going bad, turned out the backing plate was bent..

    Squeaking, High pitched ,chirping sound

Have you greased the u-joints on the driveshafts yet to see if the sound goes away?

I experienced a chirping from same area in the same scenario. Took me a while to pin point. Turned out to be the fender, bumper, headlight area where they all come together. Something was rubbing, gave it a tweek and it's gone.

You don't happen to have a standard do you? The throw out bearing can make a lovely chirping sound on these trucks.

It only makes a sound when I hit small bumps (like a rough road) going up to about 25-30mph. It doesn't make a continuous sound when I drive like a u-joint. I have no clue what it is. And I already greased my U-joints

I cannot find out where the damn chirping is coming from. I messed with the backing plate and it still makes a sound. Getting really bad for my OCD...could it possibly be a spherical bearing on the King shocks making that noise?

It's possible, spray it with some PB Blaster or WD-40 and see the chirping sound goes away.

Tried WD40 and got no change in sound. I'll try the PB next. I've checked all points of contact where there would be a bolt but still can't find shit.

He's having the same problem and couldn't find it in the front.

If it was the throwout bearing, I believe it would squeal anytime you depress the clutch and at would occur at any speed, right? You wouldn't have to be moving or in gear necessarily. At least that's how it was on my '79 CJ-7.

I'm also having the same problem. I, too, only hear the noise from about 5 mph to about 25 mph and it's the front passenger side. It seems to match wheel speed so I think I'll start there and try to get audio/video with the GoPro, then try to pinpoint it and repair it on Sunday. I'll post the video if it's decent enough to hear it and report back any findings.

:fingerscrossed: for the brake backing plate being bent...

I have same issue, but when applying the brakes, only the front right makes a chirping squeaking sound.

It was the back plate. When I replaced the rotors I bent it back some, haven't heard it since.

If i rock the truck back and forth from side steps i can hear it, but mostly it’s over small chattery bumps

I'd say have someone rock the truck for you and try to pin point it. Sounds like a bushing ready to be replaced. How many miles? Any suspension mods?

Ummm 500miles and fox 2.5 SPC ucas Icon RXT leaf pack the squeak is definitely from the from passenger and its a high pitched chirp.. CMC and pinch weld were done as well.. had a nightmare dealing with the shop.. i bought all the suspension for my 2012 and had planed on doing it myself.. got a great deal on my 2019 so i figured I’d pay a ‘professional’ shop to do it since the truck was brand new... needless to say i regret every penny i spent.. they messed up everything on every corner.. i have to get it realigned cuz driver side is rubbing near cab mount (almost an inch more clearance on passenger) hopefully i can narrow it down.. i don’t even want that shop to touch my truck again!!
