    disclaimer: not an expert

Correct, you will get 3/4" of lift by moving the 5100's up. Is that too much?

887s are meant to carry an additional 50-100# of load. If you are not adding load, you bet it will probably raise the front more....and ride like frozen dog poo.

I vote move the 5100s up one and the 3/4" raise should level it nicely if it is indeed close to a stock rake.

According to measurements from the ground to fender taken before and after the lift, I’m sitting at the same 1-1.25” back to front rake that the truck had originally. And yeah, I tend to agree that the 887 springs wouldn’t be worth it since I don’t have any plans to add weight to the front (although according to OME they have the same rating as the 885, they’re just a tad longer). I’m wondering if I can’t just swap the 1/4” top spacer on the driver’s side with a 1/2” spacer and move the 1/4” over to the passenger side. That shouldn’t be too much work and if I’m to believe what people say, it should effectively raise the truck 1/2” compared to where it is now on both sides. Which would leave me with a .5” to .75” rake.

Oh and I’m also planning on installing adjustable UCAs up front whenever I do this. I’d like to be able to dial in the proper alignment specs before I start driving on the new, bigger tires I’ll be getting.

We won't be staying overnight, I live about 25 minutes from the park. I'd say Saturday for wheeling

Let me know if you're gonna come down for sure. I'll have the lady and our kids with us, need to test/get a feel for the 4.88s and locker anyway.

Guess I should put my skids back on soon

I’m actually in the market for some adjustable LCAs right now. I’ve been looking at SPC and Camburg but people keeping trying to tell me to avoid the SPC ones due to issues with the older models. So now I’m confused...

You’re looking for lower or upper? I have the upper SPC - older model but newer greaseable ball joint and they have been excellent. No regrets. I’m not aware that they make a lower control arm. If so, I’m interested!!

Oh sorry, I meant upper. And that’s good to know. People just get so worked up over the SPCs.

I too, have the 'original' SPCs. Seem to be working just fine still. I had to cut out my lowers as well. I just used the $70 online replacements. Also seem to be fine. Only suggestion is to ONLY use OEM LCA bolts. Those Moog, ect, greaseable ones are trash as I am sure you have seen from other threads on here.

I’m gonna be a rebel and try the SPC LCA bolts.
