same out here. so sick of this crap...

hope she brought some long underoos. gonna be below zero most of the week. tell her to bring you next time so we can hang out.

our Legion and VFW would be out of business if they were strict like that. College town, most weekends its all students in there. they encourage the general public to drop in. and in the next town over the Legion has a sign out front saying visitors and public welcome

    sammich? what kinda sammich? :hungry:

nope. not good at all. even worse that I didn't plug RUnner in last night. doubt he'd even start. guess i'll be staying in for breakfast today

 sitting there with that smig look on yer face....probably thining its too hot outside...

    big crap!

that is defintely a thing. not gonna demonstrate for you today though

pretty much...limit outdoor time as much as you can. frostbite can set in within minutes. lots of layers, minimize exposed skin. if you own a diesel you're screwed as it wont start. all other vehicles need to be plugged in - block heaters are a must up here. its good to have a fully stocked pantry just in case you cant leave. and lots of time consuming hobbies - i quilt. and build legos and bake

    C'mon folks, it's March, spring's here.

    See?

Actually, all those black birds clustered around the feeders, (Red-winged Blackbirds), are a good sign that spring is near when they start showing up in flocks like this.

Even though it's 12 degrees and snowing.
