JFR Equal Length Y-Pipe for 2nd Gen Tacoma, T4R, & FJ Cruisers

    Sorry everyone for not updating lately. I've been busy with a bunch of various issues but will do the best I can with everyone's orders.

    I have also thought about testing some other exhaust concepts but feel like a bit of a catch 22 because 1, it would prevent me from fabricating my current y-pipe backlog and 2, if I came up with something even better would people be pissed that they bought the current y-pipe instead of getting the latest and greatest.

    I will say that what I am thinking of (but need much more research) is possibly true duals with x-pipe (less likely) or keep existing y-pipe into 3" single then splitting back into dual muffled exhaust.

    Obviously the true duals would be a completely different system altogether.
    The second version may be what I go with because it keeps the current y-pipe and merge collector for optimal scavenging then to dual smaller diameter mufflers to better attenuate the exhaust.

    What do y'all think?

    I think you should do what you do and make what ever you want. It will sell regardless. Maybe make a exhaust option for the ypipes u already made. And then a complete dual exhaust kit with y pipe back. Kinda like urd does with Spec-U exhaust. I only have one questions. Will it fit an xrunner body kit? I’ve been looking for a cat back. But I can sell my urd ypipe :thumbsup:

    I would totally try the current y-pipe and and dual smaller diameter mufflers. Like a CRF450. I’m all about being the sleeper, along with quiet and stealthness. And blowing poeple away when I push it to the floor.

    I want it quieter because My hearing is not what it used to be because of riding dirt bikes all my life and abusing them with walkmans, lol and car stereos in the late 80’s, early 90’s. I’m trying to save what I have left. The other reason is I like hearing the supercharger front and center most of all and not being drowned out. If y’all want it loud that’s fine too, and believe me I get it. I used to be that way but circumstances have changed for me. I would like to try out Roosty’s stealth experiment.
