    New Amsteel is so much easier to splice then stuff that has been loaded several times.

    Found a short section of new rope from the 5/8" stuff we use for pulling in wire. So it begged me to become a static pull rope.

    Put some loctite on them they will come loose an will fall off leaving your winch line dangling in the wind.:anonymous:
