I'm really looking to just replace the exhaust so i can pass emissions and get rid of the CEL. I thought maybe upping the pipes would help but sounds like I'd need to do a lot of other work to make it worth while? Not looking to spend a ton but since I'm replacing it I want it to be with quality parts.

Front and rear diffs re-geared to 4.88 dirty 30 drive axles. and a rhino pack clutch. Custom exhaust and huge mudflaps!
This is why i showed you my set up it makes way more power and cost $200
If you are worried install the 2 cats like before. It does not have to be a TOYOTA CAT as long as it passes and those cats are 49 states. they may look at the part number on the cats to verify there legal parts numbers also but its no big deal. i use the same set up on my v8 rock crawler swap into my 1997 toyota P\U dlx. I have a non air pump small block chevy 350 v8 a turbo 350 trans and solid axles with dana 44 front and rear w\welded lockers. I only had to prove engine numbers on block did not have to have air pump into the headers for emmisions. There is no language in the exhaust law that says it has to have a certain amount of cat(s) just that it must have a cat and pass emissions. You can always go and call and ask the board of health in your state about exhaust laws and they will tell you what is allowed.

So are you running 3" pipe from the manifolds back? I think i'll install the 2 cats again to cover my bases but I can basically run 3" all the way, weld in the 2 cats in the same locations as before add in the o2 sensors and call it good? I don't see the o2 sensors on your setup, are they still there or am i missing something?
