I felt kinda bad. Went in to do my credit card statement and couldn't find an invoice. Called the vendor on (what I thought was) his desk phone and was going to leave a message. Turned out to be his cell phone. On a Sunday. Then about an hour later the invoice appeared out of nowhere. So I texted him and apologized.

I have 3more years before I need to ponder.
They have hunt, fish, archery, but no crossbow unless hunt is included. Like I said I’ll have to check.

Red Wing Black Birds,,,, you can keep them rat bastards. They come here and nest to raise their young. They are very agressive and you don't even have to be near their nest. I've seen them go after hawks and they don't stop.

Looks like my area. Familiar sight. Many Amish take turns hosting worship @ their personal homes. Dozens of buggies lined up parked. Let me tell ya, them may seem backward in their ways, but are not. Many modern features on buggies including LED lighting.

We have a few around here. The best donut shop in town is right down the street, owned and operated by Mennonites. A couple more businesses in town I deal with are too. One or 2 girls that work at my wife's store. Occasionally you can see a large-ish group of women and children walking around town. Hard working folks from what I see. I sometimes wondered if they do some kind of missionary work here or across the border. We have different groups doing missionary work across the border.

If she was coming to work in our office I'd tell her she's got no problems at all. We've got a pretty good crew. Everyone is pretty busy.

I was in Lancaster County Pa. on recruiting duty for a year in the 80's. Kind of the capital for Amish and Mennonite but they long ago spread into both Canada and Mexico. And of course the rest of the US. One of the Kiwk Trips near here even has reserved parking for the Amish.

Many think of just farming when they think Mennonite and Amish but they also do a lot of carpentry and cabinet making. At least did back in the 80's in Lancaster County. Do great work and are hard working.

A lot of them come down here for Medical treatment from Canada, as do other Canadians. Couple of years ago was at a crosswalk downtown at work and 2 young Mennonites in their 20's were standing there and the youngest took a step into the street just as a bunch of cars were coming. I reached out and grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him back, didn't even really think about and it was a close call.

The other guy said to me you have to excuse my brother he has never been to the big city before like I have and doesn't know anything. Couldn't help but think that if either of them ended up in an actual big city they were both in trouble. Was strange listening to a Mennonite talk in Canadian, eh? But I'm used to it now.
