That’s a cool project. I’m actually redoing a trailer as we speak. Pick it up to fix and sell, hopefully make a couple bucks

Was the p.o. using that to haul landscaping equipment? Interesting design.

My new frame had some surprises when doing bed swap. This will motivate you to keep cleaning:
Expected rust where bed attached, but not on topside of cross member @ spare tire. Rust at Charcoal canister area likely started by mechanic when he changed it. These new frames... I'd hoped better from them.

The truck took a shit last week. 5 wheel studs sheared right off the truck while I was doing about 10 mph in a parking lot. The 6th wheel stud lost a lug nut. The wheel fell off the studs and the drum landed inside the wheel. Luckily it didn’t hit the ground but it did beat up the inside of the wheel a bit. I ran to the Walmart which luckily was in the same plaza I was in when this happened and bought a bottle jack. jacked it up, put the wheel back on using one lug stud and waited for a car trailer.

I replaced all 12 wheel studs in the rear. Replaced my drums, shoes, hardware, and wheel cylinders too. Also all new lug nuts all the way around the truck and one new American racing center cap as it got destroyed when the wheel fell off. She’s back in action now.

Are those ET lug nuts? If not you really should get some. Toyota's short studs don't allow for a lot of thread engagement with aftermarket wheels and normal acorn lug nuts.
