    i think thats what ill do. i think im gonna get those shocks from @RobP62 and those leafs from @Jim=2015 TRD PRO

    it seems like its definitely the best route to go in my situation.

    @Bocsy44 IIRC Jim’s leafs are stock leafs with a 3 leaf aal added. I was gonna install them on his sons truck but we decided a different route.

    first off. what does IIRC mean? i see it all the time and have always been curious lol
    and yeh i thought so, i was looking at the picture and the # of leafs wasn't adding up lol good to know im not crazy :rofl:

    Joe had a torn boot on his CV, so we replaced it with a Napa one and I brought the bad one home to reboot it since I had the tools and skill. Only took and hour and good as new!

    Yeah, I used the incorrect tool to clamp them down. I've since gotten the correct tool so that won't happen again. I had to reboot my own axles a second time and used the correct tool, and no problems.

    siiicckkkk. one of these days ima hit you up for a knowledge bomb. if i ever get a torn boot i will put a new one on the truck and reboot the old one for a trail spare.

    rebooting is the way to go man. It's quick and easy and much cheaper, and all OEM quality. It's just messy is all, but some gloves, rags and brake cleaner takes care of that. Rebooting this one only took me about an hour.

    found it on TPD.ca for 117$ but the part # is 0442804010 which is a little different. when i find ur P# on Amazon it says it wont fit my truck hahaha according to toyotapartsdirect.ca the P# you have is for Tacoma's from 95-2004 and mine is for 2005-2013.

    Well I know for a fact it's right because I've ordered the part twice now, and Gunny is the one that gave me the part number.

    Maybe it's a canadian toyota thing, but that seems unlikely.
