    Alrighty,

I need to get onto ordering the tires. Which do I go with? Help... :notsure:

    • Ridge Grappler
    • ST Maxx
    • Open Country A/T II

I'm pretty set on re-gearing to 5.29s in the immediate future.

I've had the Open Country A/T II and the Ridge Grapplers and I definitely prefer the Ridge Grapplers. Too bad you are not in the PHX area. I will be selling my 285/75R17 Grapplers pretty soon and they only have 4,000 miles on them.

I just installed 4.88 gears in January and I wish I would have done the 5.29s so I think you are on the right track there

Put in an order for black 17x9's. I'm going with 295's and joining the rub squad.

The first two are hybrid AT tires. I’ll say having seen ST Maxx and NRGs in person, I would prefer the ST Maxx. Reviews and price also make me lean that way.

I have Cooper AT3 XLT right now after duratrac. You can get them on discount a lot of places and they’re not overly aggressive but look nice, ride softer, and they’re quiet. Those last two can’t be appreciated enough IMO.

Rub a dub dub.. I actually only rub on drive side lower fender/flare but the passenger clears fine.. once it’s aligned properly i should only have to reshape and trim up front..

I'm currently running 265/75/16 so I haven't needed to alter anything yet. I need to get the CMC done but I figure I have another few weeks until March/April tire sales hit which is when I'll pick up the 295's.

Rubbing so I’m gonna have to bend the plastic and trim some

This little tab has already cracked apart, is it a big deal?
